Niagara wedding florist, niagara wedding, stratus wedding

This time last year we had just wrapped up this gorgeous spring wedding.  The fruit tree’s were blooming (not so much for 2018) and leaves were emerging (again not so much).  Aurora had a very clean and modern theme with foliage touches for her wedding day. My favorite part of Auroras wedding was creating her ceremony arbor.  We used our copper arbor and covered it in an asymmetrical design loaded with white blooms and cascading foliage.  We then added foliage gathers to… Read more »

Niagara wedding florist, lush florals

There is nothing I love more than a spring winery wedding in Niagara.  Blooms in abundance and the vineyards coming alive for the season.  Denise came to me with a vibrant purple colour scheme and love for foliage and garlands.  It was a perfect pairing for Sue Anne Staff Winery where their ceremony and reception took place.  We created a natural flowing design for their ceremony arbor which stood up even on the windiest of days.  We were so excited to… Read more »

I would have to say hands down this was my favorite wedding of 2016.  Why do I love it so?  I think it was most importantly the easy going nature of this couple.  They gave me a feeling and a vibe that they wanted to create and let me run with it.  Mixed metallics (love), vintage flower vessels (love), barely there lavender and caramel with cream colour scheme (sigh…love)!  No table was exactly alike as was no centerpiece.  I loved… Read more »

Niagara wedding florist, Niagara on the lake wedding, Niagara florist, Grand victorian wedding

I have to say that when Karen contacted me for her Grand Victorian Wedding I was pretty excited.  I had always wanted to do a real wedding at this venue.  She had such a lovely colour scheme and romantic aesthetic for her wedding.  Peach, cream and blush with natural foliage accents were infused into the florals.  An intimate ceremony took place under a large beech tree on the property which we accented with unstructured ceremony blooms.  Long harvest tables were… Read more »

The romantic blush and marsala colour scheme, the changing fall colours, the dripping ceremony florals…I simply loved everything about this wedding. Sarah and Taylor were married at the Cave Springs Retreat building with their reception at Inn on the Twenty (which is one of our ultimate venue’s).  They got to experience Niagara’s wine country at one of the most perfect times, with the leaves changing against the escarpment and in the twenty valley.  This brunch wedding was packed with emotion and… Read more »

Ravine winery wedding, Lush Florals, Niagara wedding florist

Sandra and David had a quaint and intimate wedding in the Cellar of Ravine Winery.  It is the perfect place to host a small affair and is just dripping with a unique and cozy vibe. If you are considering a Niagara wedding especially in off season this is a wonderful venue that still gives the vineyard feel (even in December). My friend Samantha from  Darling Mine captured the simple yet elegant flowers we created.  Enjoy!

Lush Florals, Niagara wedding florist, Niagara on the Lake wedding

An outdoor tented wedding in Niagara can be perfect even at the end of October.  It may have had something to do with a wedding in wine country and the perfect setting of Ravine Vineyards…..and heaters. Amanda dreamt of long harvest tables covered in groupings of bud vases and jelup cups for her winery wedding.  We combined soft tones of blush and white in all wedding flowers (as far as I am concerned there are no rules for colours and… Read more »

Crisp cool air, cinnamon coloured grape vines, the last few fall leaves drifting to the ground. Late November is absolutely gorgeous in wine country, and Anna’s wedding proved just that.   When I think back to the planning of Anna and Ricardo’s wedding I most distinctly remember her father.  A plant aficionado and greenhouse grower who really kept me on my toes about cut flower availability and blooming times.  Sometimes moments like that make me thankful for my horticulture years… Read more »

Lush Florals, Niagara on the lake wedding, Niagara wedding florist

Julie and Paul had a peach and blush masterpiece of a wedding set in amongst the vines at Southbrook Vineyards.  An arbor draped in eucalyptus greeted the couple after a walk down the aisle which was lined in hanging blooms.  The dreamy tent was draped in flowing fabric and long rows of undulating flowers on wooden runners finished the breathtaking reception. Christine Lim’s pictures speak of the dreamy atmosphere and the loving couple.  Thank you for allowing us a glimpse of… Read more »

Ravine Vineyards wedding, winery wedding, Niagara wedding florist, Niagara florist, Lush Florals

Wedding dreams are made of long harvest tables, natural and cascading bouquets, wineries in the fall, mixed metallic containers and blush blooms. (At least mine are) Alexandra had me in love with her wedding from the moment she detailed her plans.  Her Ravine Vineyards Wedding was to be held in the Wine cellar at a long harvest table (sigh).  They were to be married beside the vineyard under a canopy with hanging roses (double sigh).  She would carry a cascading… Read more »
