Niagara wedding florist, Niagara florist

Kylie and Brendan were married in a quaint historic church in Fort Erie on an early October day. The Old Fort provided the perfect backdrop for pictures after the ceremony. Their brunch reception at Legends on the Niagara was filled with mixed soft fall hued blooms with a marsala punch in eclectic styles.  I loved creating this mismatched look for them.  We pulled out all of our pretty gold candles, bud vases and compotes to create one unified design.  This… Read more »

I would have to say hands down this was my favorite wedding of 2016.  Why do I love it so?  I think it was most importantly the easy going nature of this couple.  They gave me a feeling and a vibe that they wanted to create and let me run with it.  Mixed metallics (love), vintage flower vessels (love), barely there lavender and caramel with cream colour scheme (sigh…love)!  No table was exactly alike as was no centerpiece.  I loved… Read more »

Niagara wedding florist, Niagara on the lake wedding, Niagara florist, Grand victorian wedding

I have to say that when Karen contacted me for her Grand Victorian Wedding I was pretty excited.  I had always wanted to do a real wedding at this venue.  She had such a lovely colour scheme and romantic aesthetic for her wedding.  Peach, cream and blush with natural foliage accents were infused into the florals.  An intimate ceremony took place under a large beech tree on the property which we accented with unstructured ceremony blooms.  Long harvest tables were… Read more »

jillian graham 0055

On a beautiful summer evening we gathered a group of friendors together to create a magical engagement session for Gillian and Graham.  Down the street from my home is this gorgeous beach which was the perfect backdrop. Nataschia Wielink Took all of the lovely images, Amanda Cowley Staged and planned the shoot and Nina Furrato did the hair and make-up.

The romantic blush and marsala colour scheme, the changing fall colours, the dripping ceremony florals…I simply loved everything about this wedding. Sarah and Taylor were married at the Cave Springs Retreat building with their reception at Inn on the Twenty (which is one of our ultimate venue’s).  They got to experience Niagara’s wine country at one of the most perfect times, with the leaves changing against the escarpment and in the twenty valley.  This brunch wedding was packed with emotion and… Read more »

Ravine winery wedding, Lush Florals, Niagara wedding florist

Sandra and David had a quaint and intimate wedding in the Cellar of Ravine Winery.  It is the perfect place to host a small affair and is just dripping with a unique and cozy vibe. If you are considering a Niagara wedding especially in off season this is a wonderful venue that still gives the vineyard feel (even in December). My friend Samantha from  Darling Mine captured the simple yet elegant flowers we created.  Enjoy!

Lush Florals, Niagara wedding florist, Niagara on the Lake wedding

An outdoor tented wedding in Niagara can be perfect even at the end of October.  It may have had something to do with a wedding in wine country and the perfect setting of Ravine Vineyards…..and heaters. Amanda dreamt of long harvest tables covered in groupings of bud vases and jelup cups for her winery wedding.  We combined soft tones of blush and white in all wedding flowers (as far as I am concerned there are no rules for colours and… Read more »

Niagara wedding florist, Niagara on the lake wedding, Lush Florals

Lately I have been feeling the need to flex my creativity muscle, do something a little different than the average wedding.  I am a lover of anything natural, textural and wild but I don’t always get to pull that into weddings I work on.  So every now and then I call on some friends to put together some pretty, and that they did! Woodbourne Inn in the sweetest destination in Niagara on the Lake.  Perfect for a bride to get… Read more »

Smitten Magazine feature, Lush Florals, Niagara wedding florist

There is something about this team of fabulous vendors I cannot move away from.  They bring out the best in my art, or perhaps capture it perfectly.  Last spring I was fortunate enough to collaborate on this stunning shoot that was just recently featured in Smitten Magazine Vol. 13. Destiny (Destiny Dawn Photography) and Mike (The Barefoot Stylist) summarized the story of this shoot perfectly: “In this fleeting moment of serendipity, two lovers embrace in a sphere of rich florals… Read more »
